Once a month, this group enjoys a walk somewhere in or around the town – taking bags, barrows and litter pickers with them.

The walk usually takes place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10am for 1 hour. The meeting place varies, depending on where their help is needed most – please email for details (see below). The length is generally between two to five miles.

 

Rubbish collected along the way is picked up later by High Peak Borough Council. The idea is to encourage a sense of pride, ownership and responsibility for the town and surrounding area and also to create a group with a sense of community and a common goal.

New members are always welcome – it's much more fun than going to the gym!
