WEEKEND 10TH AND 11TH JUNE
Last year’s inaugural trail saw 27 private gardens open to visitors, as well as Buxton’s many beautiful parks and public spaces. This year we have even more!
The gardens will be open from 10am to 5pm both days. As well as the gardens, many will have plants for sale, and artists, poets and other entertainers ‘in residence’ to add to your enjoyment.
If you enjoy looking round other people’s gardens, this date is a must for your diary. And don’t miss the special plant and garden themed market on Buxton Market Place on Saturday 10th June, and the Plant and Craft Bazaar in the Pavilion Gardens on Sunday 11th.
A map with full details of all the gardens is available from:
Tourist Information Centre (at the Pavilion Gardens)
The Green Man Gallery (behind the Museum, top of Terrace Rd)
Poole’s Cavern Visitor Centre (Green Lane)
The maps cost £3 and allow entry for one person to all the gardens on both days. Accompanied children go free.
You can see details of the project in the Project Proposal.
