Buxton In Bloom 2018

The sun doesn’t always shine in Buxton, but the best thing about rain is that when it stops… we get rainbows! So that’s what we’ve chosen for this year’s Buxton in Bloom theme.

We’ll be running a local competition again, with the following categories:

  • Best garden (private or commercial)
  • Best hanging basket(s) or planter(s)
  • Best school garden
  • Best flowerpot person(s)

If you want to see what the judges will be looking for check out the Judging Criteria.

Entry forms are out and about in the town now – or you can Download a Print Friendly Entry Form here.

We’re really looking forward to seeing how people include all the colours of the rainbow into their entries.

We’ve also as usual put out planters along the railings behind the Springs Centre and on the Crescent hoardings. We’re always on the lookout for places in town that could be improved by some bright planting, and people who will help make that happen, so come and help out!

The closing report for this project is now available.
